Tiramisu Toffee Dessert combines the classic flavors of tiramisu with the crunchiness of toffee, resulting in a delightful dessert. Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:

For the Toffee Layer:

- 1 cup toffee bits or chopped toffee bars
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans), optional

For the Creamy Layer:

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Other Ingredients:

- 1 package (about 7 ounces) ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Toffee Layer:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the toffee bits and chopped nuts (if using). Set aside.

2. Prepare the Creamy Layer:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined. Set aside.

3. Assemble the Dessert:

  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee or espresso, making sure not to soak them too long.
  • Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish (such as a trifle dish or glass baking dish).
  • Spread half of the creamy mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle half of the toffee-nut mixture evenly over the creamy layer.

4. Repeat Layers:

  • Arrange another layer of dipped ladyfingers over the toffee-nut mixture.
  • Spread the remaining creamy mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Sprinkle the remaining toffee-nut mixture over the creamy layer.

5. Chill:

  • Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

6. Serve:

  • Before serving, dust the top of the dessert with cocoa powder.
  • Slice and serve chilled.

7. Enjoy!

Serve and enjoy your delicious Tiramisu Toffee Dessert, with its creamy layers and crunchy toffee bits!
